Who am I

Kunal was born in India and had completed his initial school education at Delhi Public School (DPS), New Delhi. Kunal then graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania earning bachelor's degrees from the Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Kunal then graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, earning bachelor's degrees from The Wharton School and the School of Engineering and Applied Science and finished an executive marketing program from Kellogg School of Management. While studying in the US Kunal started a detergent company and worked to sell his product at Walmart stores. Kunal had worked with Microsoft for a short period as he was deported from USA to India due to some visa issue in 2008.

Snapdeal was started on 4 February 2010 as a daily deals platform but expanded in September 2011 to become an online marketplace. Snapdeal has grown to become one of the largest online marketplace in India offering an assortment of 10 million products across diverse categories from over 100,000 sellers, shipping to more than 5,000 towns and cities in India.

With the mission to create life-changing experiences through this platform, Kunal today has the largest online database with over 25 million members and 50,000 sellers. With millions of products from thousands of national, international and regional brands, Snapdeal.com has partnered with several global marquee investors to deliver products across the country to 5000+ cities and towns in India. What else keeps Kunal busy you may ask, he serves on Unilever’s Global Digital Advisory Board and the Board of Governors of The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
