Prem Kumar Singh

Mountaineer | Motivational Speaker

Who am I

Prem Kumar Singh is a young adventurer, mountaineer and motivational speaker.

In 2013 alone, Prem climbed the highest mountains on four continents, including Mount Everest (Asia), Mount Elbrus (Europe), Aconcagua (South-America) and Puncak Jaya (Oceania). More recently Prem was featured as one of the contestants on an NDTV Prime reality show "XC Adventure", which he won.

"We all have our mountains to climb in life, dreams that we want to achieve deep down, the one place where we want to be in life. But does dreaming alone take us there? Or do we need more than just dreams to be successful? What are the other factors that actually determine whether or not you will achieve your goals? What are the ingredients for success?

Drawing parallels from his experience of having climbed the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest, plus many more peaks across the globe, mountaineer Prem Kumar Singh reflects on the insights that allowed him to not only survive but thrive in the extreme corners and conditions around the world. Prem's uniqueness is the ability to translate these lessons of the Far and Wild into an everyday language and show how the same core principles can be utilized on the path of turning your dreams into deeds, regardless of your line of business or domain. Prem distils his long and hard-fought battles down to simple Mantras of success that cut through the often fluffy and vague inspirational jargon and provide listeners with applicable steps to implement in their daily life.

Through grit and discipline, Prem Kumar Singh has converted himself from a dreaming college-kid into one of the hardiest alpinists in India. Prem has not only ascended peaks in the Himalayas in India and Nepal but in the far corners of the world, from the war-torn lands of Russian Far South to the untouched swamps and rainforests of New Guinea, as far from the modern civilization as anywhere on the planet.
